When viewing images in full-frame playback mode or thumbnail playback 
mode, you can configure the playback menu settings listed below by pressing 
the 

d button (A8).

Allows you to create retouched copies in which 
contrast and saturation have been enhanced.

I D-Lighting

Allows you to create copies with enhanced 
brightness and contrast, brightening dark portions 
of an image.

e Skin 
softening

Detects faces in images and creates a copy with 
softer facial skin tones.

p Filter effects

Allows you to apply a variety of effects using digital 
filters. The available effects are Soft portrait, 
Selective color, Cross screen, Fisheye, 
Miniature effect, Painting, Vignette, Photo 
illustration and Portrait (color + B&W).

a Print order

Allows you to select which images are printed, and 
how many copies of each image are printed, prior to 
printing.

b Slide show

Allows you to view images in an automatic slide 
show.

d Protect

Protects selected images and movies from 
accidental deletion.

f Rotate image

Allows you to rotate the displayed image to portrait 
or landscape orientation.

g Small picture

1

Creates a small copy of images.

E Voice memo

Allows you to use the camera’s microphone to 
record voice memos and attach them to images.
