Start the computer and insert the reference CD.

Double-click the CD (Nikon D5300) icon in Computer or My Computer (Windows) 
or on the desktop (Macintosh).

Double-click the INDEX.pdf icon to display a language selection screen and click a 
language to display the Reference Manual.

Symbols and Conventions
To make it easier to find the information you need, the following symbols and conventions are

Menu items, options, and messages displayed in the camera monitor are shown in bold.
