Installation

WARNING:

When a single power source is used for both the camera and accessories, the camera power consumption must be taken into con-
sideration when determining the wire gauge. Also, make certain that all electrical connections are done properly and meet electrical codes.
Before installing the HS2500 to a wall, make certain that the mounting surface is able to support four times the full weight of the enclosure,
camera, and lens.
The tilt table and tilt table mounting brackets may be removed to provide adequate clearance for mounting the enclosure.

NOTE:

The six fasteners required to secure the HS2500 to a wall (minimum 3/8" or 0.95 cm diameter are recommended) are not supplied.
To mount the enclosure to a wall, follow the steps outlined below.
1. Open the enclosure by unscrewing the two tamper-proof screws at the bottom and lifting the cover. A special socket tool is provided
(fits 1/4" square drive).
2. Using the mounting bracket as a template, mark and drill holes in the mounting surface.
3. Attach the enclosure with the required fasteners.
4. Route the required cables through the back.
5. If you have purchased the optional heater kit, proceed to the

Optional Heater Kit

section.
