1.     Remove lens housing by turning  

counter-clockwise.

2.    Remove the lamp and contact module.

3.     Remove used batteries and replace with  

fresh batteries as shown on the outside of the 

engraved body.

4.    Replace the contact module and lamp.

5.     Replace lens housing squarely on threads and turn  

clockwise while pressing on the lens housing 

slightly.

Swing the switch lever to the right (light facing away 

from you) until light activates. To turn light off, swing 

the switch lever to the left (light facing away from you) 

until light goes off.

If light is not to be used for some time, remove 

batteries to prevent possible leakage and corrosion.

Hydrogen Gas Absorber Pellets

Located inside the flashlight are catalyst pellets which are 

present to absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be  

emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily 

discharged batteries. If the pellets become wet, let them air 

dry. Pelican Products assumes no liability for any brand  

batteries which are defective or cause injury to anyone  

when used in any Pelican flashlight.

Battery Replacement

Battery replacement may only be performed in a 

non-hazardous area. Do not mix battery brands or use 

Nicad or Zinc Carbon Batteries. Do not mix old and new  

batteries.  Replace  all  batteries  a        t  the  same  time.

1.   Hazardous location safety approvals for explosive  

environments are only valid for the specified cell type 

manufacturer and, where applicable, brand names that are 

displayed on the flashlight and/or instructions sheets that 

are supplied with the light.

2.   The use of other battery technologies may reduce the 

performance of the the flashlight.  Always read the battery 

manufacturers  

recommendations for the appropriate use of the battery 

technology/brand prior to using them in the flashlight.

3.   When replacing the batteries:  

a.  Replace all the batteries at the same time. 

b.   Do not mix battery brands and old and new batteries.

     c.   Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity  

(+ and -) marked on the battery and equipment.

4.   Do not change batteries in a hazardous location.

5.       Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for 

an extended period of time.

SUBMERSIBLE
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS

1.     Retire el alojamiento de la lente girándolo en el  

sentido contrario al de las agujas del reloj.

2.   Retire la lámpara y el módulo de contacto.

3.     Saque las pilas gastadas y sustitúyalas por pilas nuevas 

tal y como se indica en la parte exterior del cuerpo de 

la linterna.

4.    Vuelva a colocar el módulo de contacto y la lámpara.

5.     Vuelva a colocar el alojamiento de la lente directamente 

sobre la rosca y gírelo en el sentido de las agujas del 

reloj presionando ligeramente el alojamiento de la lente.

Empuje el interruptor a la derecha (desviando la luz) hasta 

que se active la linterna. Para apagar la linterna, empuje el 

interruptor a la izquierda (desviando la luz) hasta que la luz 

se apague.

Si la linterna no va a ser utilizada durante un tiempo, retire 

las pilas para evitar posibles fugas y la corrosión.

La categoría de ambiente potencialmente explosivo está indicada en el 

cuerpo de la linterna. 

En el interior de la linterna se encuentran unos catalizadores que absor-

ben el gas de hidrógeno que podría liberarse en caso de fugas de las 

pilas, de colocación incorrecta de las mismas o si éstas se encuentran 

muy descargadas. Si los catalizadores se humedecen, déjelos secar al 

aire. Pelican Products no asume ninguna responsabilidad por marcas 

de pilas defectuosas o que provoquen daños al utilizarse en linternas 

Pelican.

La sustitución de las pilas únicamente puede realizarse en una zona 

no peligrosa. No se deben mezclar pilas de diferentes marcas, ni pilas 

Nicad y pilas de zinc-carbono.  

No mezcle pilas nuevas con viejas. Sustituya todas las pilas al mismo 

tiempo.

pas défectueux, selon les conditions de la présente garantie,

Toute demande de prise en charge sous garantie, de quelque 

nature que ce soit, sera refusée si la torche a été modifiée, 

endommagée ou physiquement changée d’une façon ou d’une 

autre ou encore sujette à un traitement abusif, une mauvaise 

utilisation, une négligence ou un accident.

Certains États n’autorisent pas l’exclusion ou la limitation des 

dommages accessoires ou indirects, de telle sorte que la limita-

tion ou l’exclusion mentionnée ci-dessus peut ne pas s’appliquer 

dans votre cas. La présente garantie vous donne des droits 

légaux spécifiques et vous pouvez bénéficier d’autres droits, 

variables d’un État à l’autre.
