6.1 Replacing the Lens

Overview
Replacing the Lens

Turn the projector off and unplug the power cord.

Allow the projector to cool down for at least 1 minute then start the lens replacement.

Remove the lens cover from the projector.

Rotate the bar upwards and then rotate the lens counterclockwise to remove it from the projector.

Replace the lens to be installed, be sure the label “

TOP” of lens is upward and then push the lens into the
position.

Rotate the lens clockwise to lock the lens and then rotate the bar downwards.

Put the lens cover to the projector with the sound “click”.

Warning: This procedure may only be performed by qualified technical service personnel.
Caution: Do not transport the projector with any lens installed.
Note: Please verify that all the plastic caps removed from the lens prior inserting in the projector.
