Once the Client Emergency Agent has been activated, a motion or alarm event detected by a linked camera on a DX8000 server will cause a 
pop-up window to display a still image of the event. In addition to real-time monitoring of events, all event notifications sent to the client will be 
logged for future viewing.

If necessary, you can change the network port used by the Client Emergency Agent.

To change the port:

1. Click the Port Setting button. The Emergency Agent Listen Port dialog box opens.

2. If necessary enter a new port number (default port number is 9004).

3. Click OK.

IMPORTANT:  The port number must be an integer between 5000 and 6535. You should keep the default port setting of 9004 unless there 
is a conflict on your network. Consult your network administrator before changing network port settings.
