The AS551 has been designed for bigger companies, who wish to save on mobile telephone cost and integrate the 

mobile phone into their PABX-system. The product can be connected to a PRI-trunk of the PABX (or in the 

passthrough mode - between the PABX and the PRI-network) or on a SIP-PBX. The system is flexible and can be 

easily extended from 6 to 30 GSM-channels. Optional the product can be extended with 3 ‘building blocks’.

Thanks to the possibility to activate GSM Mobility Extender, the mobile phone can act as an internal extension of the 

PABX, with extra features, such as call hold and call diversion. This makes this solution the ultimate DECT-alternative. 

IntelliDial is another optional feature. With IntelliDial, the mobile phone user has on-line access to the company 

contact database. By clicking on the contact found, IntelliDial dials out in order that you mobile phone will have fixed 

network tariffs. Finally, the product can be extended with SMS Comfort software, which makes it possible to send and 

receive SMS messages from your existing email program.
