LAN Subsystem Software 
For Intel 82562ET Fast Ethernet WfM PCI LAN software and drivers, refer to the D815EEA2, 
D815EPEA2, D815EFV, or D815EPFV link on Intel’s World Wide Web site at: 
RJ-45 LAN Connector LEDs 
Two LEDs are built into the RJ-45 LAN connector.  Table 6 describes the LED states when the 
board is powered up and the LAN subsystem is operating.

Battery 
A battery on the desktop board keeps the values in CMOS RAM and the clock current when the 
computer is turned off.  See Chapter 2 for instructions on how to replace the battery.  
Power Management Features 
Power management is implemented at several levels, including:

  Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI)

  Power connector 
  Fan connectors 
  Wake on LAN technology (optional) 
  Instantly Available technology 
  S5 wake on PCI bus connector 2 only

  Wake on Keyboard 
  Wake on PME# 
  Resume on Ring   
If the board is used with an ACPI-aware operating system, the BIOS can provide ACPI support.  
Otherwise, it defaults to APM support.
