My NI PXI-8104 does not have an internal floppy drive. Is there a way
to use an external drive?

Yes. The NI PXI-8104 controller supports and can boot from USB floppy
drives. A USB floppy drive will not work with Windows NT4, but will
work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Refer to the
