install

adapter,

following:
 
1.
   
Shut
 
down
 
your
 
system
 
and
 
place
 
it
 
into
 
service
 
mode
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
documentation
 
provided
 
with
 
your
 
system.
 
2.
   
Remove
 
the
 
front
 
bezel
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
service
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
documentation
 
provided
 
with
 
your
 
system.
 
3.
   
Plug
 
the
 
card
 
into
 
the
 
connector
 
on
 
the
 
system
 
board
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
documentation
 
provided
 
with
 
your
 
system.
 
4.
   
Replace
 
the
 
front
 
bezel
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
service
 
as
 
described
 
in
 
the
 
documentation
 
provided
 
with
 
your
 
system.
 
5.
   
Return
 
the
 
system
 
unit
 
to
 
the
 
operating
 
position
 
and
 
power
 
it
 
on.
 
If
 
the
 
integrated
 
SCSI
 
controller
 
was
 
used
 
as
 
the
 
boot
 
device
 
prior
 
to
 
the
 
card
 
installation,
 
the
 
controller
 
will
 
still
 
boot
 
your
 
system.
Note:
  
If
 
the
 
system
 
unit
 
does
 
not
 
power
 
on,
 
repeat
 
this
 
installation
 
procedure.
