Raise the stand and use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to loosen the three captive screws at

Holding the metal stand, tilt the back cover up and lift it away from the computer. The

To protect the computer from electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by touching a

If an AirPort Extreme Card is installed, remove it from the slot over the battery.
