Disposal of Old Appliance

Be sure to follow your local requirements for dis-

posal of appliances. Discarded appliances can be

dangerous.

Risk of child entrapment. Before you dis-

card old appliances:

• Remove the doors.
• Leave the shelves in place so that chil-

dren may not easily climb inside.

• Cut off the prongs from the power cable

plug and discard them.

• Cut off the power cable from the dis-

carded refrigerator. Discard separately

from the refrigerator.

Following these instructions reduces the

possibility of causing personal injury,

especially to children playing.
