The handset display goes to

headset.

•Do not pause for over 60 seconds while

searching.

•The handset is too far from the base unit.

•The handset is engaged in an outside

call or is viewing the Caller
List/directory list. Wait until the IN
USE/CHARGE indicator light goes out.

•If the last number dialled was more

than 32 digits long, the number will not
be redialled correctly.

•The button has a double function as

either redial or pause. It will redial the
last number dialled if pressed at the
outset of a call (p. 18). If another
number has been dialled first, it will
operate as a pause button (p. 40).

•Charge the battery fully (p. 11).

•Clean the charge contacts and charge

again (p. 12).

•Install a new battery (p. 47).

•This is normal.

•When the headset is connected (p. 46),

you must use the headset to talk with
the caller. To have a normal cordless
phone conversation, disconnect the
headset.

•Make sure that the headset is

connected properly (p. 46).

•Please use only the Panasonic 

KX-TCA88AL headset.
