  1.  Connect the included power supply to the back of the drive. Place the drive on a stable surface and connect 

the power supply to a power outlet.

   

CAUTION! To avoid damage to the power supply connector, make sure it is aligned correctly before plugging 
it into the drive. Do not move the drive while it is powered up to avoid drive damage or data loss. Use only 
the power supply included with the drive.

  2.  Identify the USB cable and connect it to the back of the drive.
  3.  Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer. The USB cable can be connected to 

the computer while the computer is running. Connecting the drive to a USB hub is not recommended.

   

NOTE: Make sure the power switch on the back of the drive is ON.

  4.  The drive should appear as a single drive letter in My Computer, Windows Explorer or on the Mac Desktop. If 

the drive does not appear on your computer, refer to Troubleshooting.

  5.  The Iomega Desktop Hard Drive is ready to use. Save or drag and drop files to the drive as you would to any 

other drive attached to your computer.

ATTENTION ! Pour éviter d’endommager le connecteur d’alimentation, assurez-vous de son alignement avant 
de le raccorder au lecteur. Ne déplacez pas le lecteur lorsqu’il est sous tension pour éviter tout dommage ou 
perte de données. Utilisez uniquement l’alimentation fournie avec le lecteur.

  2.  Identifiez le câble USB approprié et connectez-le à l’arrière du lecteur.
  3.  Connectez l’autre extrémité du câble USB à un port USB sur votre ordinateur. Le câble USB peut être 

connecté à l’ordinateur alors que celui-ci fonctionne. Il n’est pas recommandé de connecter le lecteur à un 
concentrateur USB.

   

REMARQUE : Vérifiez que l’interrupteur d’alimentation à l’arrière du lecteur est sur ON.

  4.  Le lecteur doit apparaître en tant que lettre de lecteur unique dans le Poste de travail, l’Explorateur Windows 

ou sur le bureau du Mac. Si aucune icône n’apparaît, consultez la rubrique Dépannage.

  5.  Le double disque dur de bureau est prêt à l’emploi. Enregistrez ou glissez-déplacez des fichiers sur le 

lecteur comme sur n’importe quel autre lecteur connecté à votre ordinateur.

ausschließlich das der Festplatte beiliegende Netzteil.

  2.  Wählen Sie das USB-Kabel aus, und schließen Sie es an der Laufwerksrückseite an.
  3.  Schließen Sie das andere Ende des USB-Kabels an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers an. Das USB-Kabel kann 

an den Computer angeschlossen werden, während der Computer eingeschaltet ist. Es wird nicht empfohlen, das 
Laufwerk an einen USB-Hub anzuschließen.

   

Hinweis: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Netzschalter an der Rückseite des Laufwerks eingeschaltet ist (ON).

  4.  Das Laufwerk wird im Arbeitsplatz, dem Windows Explorer oder auf dem Mac-Schreibtisch als einzelner 

Laufwerkbuchstabe angezeigt. Falls das Laufwerk auf Ihrem System nicht angezeigt wird, lesen Sie den Abschnitt 
Problembehandlung.

  5.  Die Iomega Desktop-Festplatte mit Doppellaufwerk ist einsatzbereit. Wie bei jedem anderen am Computer 

angeschlossenen Laufwerk speichern und verschieben Sie Dateien auf das Laufwerk per Drag & Drop.
