In the Network window, select the Configuration tab. Scroll down the list of network components provided,
highlight TCP/IP bound to your Ethernet Adapter and click on Proper ties. Your selection will be something
similar the one illustrated in Figure 1 below:

From the TCP/IP window, select the tab labeled IP Address, and enter the same parameters that appear
below in Figure 2. If you have received information from your ser vice provider specifying a usable range of
IP addresses that should be used to configure the workstations on your LAN, substitute the IP Address of
192.168.1.2 specified below for the first usable IP address in the range your ser vice provider specified.
Also, substitute the Subnet Mask (255.255.255.0) for the Ethernet/LAN subnet mask given by your
ser vice provider.
