On the left end of the line 

up position the starter 

section of the top rail as shown

in Figure 14, Detail H-1. Push
bottom of the short top rail

down over the color panel and

lift the top with the other hand

as shown in Detail H-1.

Use one hand to push the 
top rail toward the rear of

the case while using the other

hand to “snap” the top section

down over the edge of the light

channel as shown in 

Detail H-2 and H-3.

Leave all bumper sections on

with cases operating at their

correct temperature for at least
6 hours before measuring, cut-
ting and installing the last

bumper section. This will

allow the bumpers and top

rails to contract.

At the right end of the 

lineup, tap the top rails and

bumpers to close any gaps

Go to the right end of the
case. Measure the last 

sections of top rail and

bumpers. Use a miter box and

fine-tooth saw to cut the last

sections of bumpers and top
rail to length. Install the last

sections.
