Lip Sync 
Included with the advanced technology of your TV, a feature which will compensate the shortcomings of 
signal transmission called audio sync (Lip Sync). Lip Sync is designed to adjust the audio of the program 
being viewed so that it matches the movement of the lips of someone talking on the screen. This feature 
is built into your set, and it can be applied to all inputs. To use this feature, follow the steps below. 
 
Press the MENU key to bring up the OSD. 
Using either the 
 or 
 button scroll across to the microphone icon, the Audio menu will be displayed.  
Press either 
 or 
 button to scroll either up or down to Lip Sync. 
Press either 
 or 
 button to make the appropriated adjustment. 
Press the LAST key once to return to the previous screen or repeatedly to return to your program if task 
has been completed. 
 
DTV / TV Tuner Setup 
When you first used your VS420LF1A you will have setup your TV for DTV / TV channels using the Initial 
Setup screens.  If you did not do this or if your setup has changed, you can do this from the TV TUNER 
SETUP menu. 
Once the adjustments are completed press the LAST button repeatedly to exit the OSD completely. 
Tuner Mode 
When the MENU button is pressed, the On Screen 
Display (OSD) appears on the PICTURE 
adjustment page.  Press the   button to display 
the TV page. 
Press the 
 button to highlight the Tuner Mode 
selection. 
Press either the 
 or 
 button to choose Cable 
or Air (Antenna) depending upon which equipment 
you have attached to the DTV / TV Input. 
Once the adjustments are completed press the 
LAST  button repeatedly to exit the OSD 
completely. 
             
Auto Search 
Press the 
 button to highlight the Auto Search 
selection. 
Press the 
 button to Auto Search for TV 
channels available.  The TV will automatically 
search for analog and digital channels. 
Once the adjustments are completed press the 
LAST  button repeatedly to exit the OSD 
completely.
