B: DOS Terminal-Generated Sequence Numbers
Expanded Function B is a message that causes the DOS terminal to generate sequence numbers
for inbound messages.
Expanded Function B sets the LDS Plus parameter AutoSeqNumbers to Yes. When this parameter
is set to yes, the DOS terminal generates sequence numbers for all inbound messages. Refer to the
specific parameter information in Chapter 3,  “Configuration Utility.”
What Happens
See “Sequence Number (SEQ #)”  in Chapter 4, “Messages”, for explanation of Receive and
Transmit sequence numbers.
NMWS Parameter Equivalent
When you set LDS Plus TE terminal parameters remotely from the NMWS, the pertinent NMWS
parameters for this option are:
Automatic Sequence Numbers (ASN). Refer to Chapter 1, “Introduction”, section
titled “LXE 6200 Backbone Compatibility”.
