How To Scan a Barcode . . .
The linear barcodes in this guide were created using Code 128 symbology. Your mobile device has
been set up by LXE to automatically read Code 128 barcodes.

Scan Linear Barcode
1. Select the symbol parameter you want to scan. If this guide is in print form, lay this reference
guide flat on a table or propped up.
2. Holding the scanner approximately 3 – 12 inches away from the symbol, aim the scanner
aperture toward the selected barcode.
3. Press the Scan button. Align the red beam so that the barcode is centered within the beam.
