Getting Help 
LXE user and reference guides are now available on one CD and they can also be 
viewed/downloaded from the LXE ServicePass website on the ServicePass / Documentation page. 
Contact your LXE representative to obtain the LXE Manuals CD or logon information for the 
ServicePass web pages. 
You can also get help from LXE by calling the telephone numbers listed on the LXE Manuals CD, in 
the file titled Contacting LXE. This information is also available on the LXE website. 
Explanations of terms and acronyms used in this guide are located in the file titled LXE Technical 
Glossary
 on the LXE Manuals CD and the LXE ServicePass website. 
 
Obsolete LXE Equipment with Integrated Scanners 
Handheld 
User guides for obsolete equipment are available on the LXE ServicePass / Documentation / Archives 
web page. DOS devices with integrated scanners use the barcodes in the Integrated Scanner 
Programming Guide for DOS Devices
 on the LXE Manuals CD. 
2325 and MX2 Mobile Device 
The 2325 and MX2 mobile devices with DOS operating systems are obsolete. The integrated scanner 
engine can be programmed using the appropriate PSC barcodes in the Integrated Scanner 
Programming Guide for DOS Devices
2330 DOS Mobile Device 
The 2330 may have the SE1022, SE1122 or SE1223 integrated scanner engine. You must use the 
programming barcodes in the 2330 Reference Guide to program the integrated scanner. 
2335 and MX1 Mobile Device 
The 2335 and MX1 mobile devices with DOS operating systems are obsolete. The integrated scanner 
engine can be programmed using the appropriate SE923 or SE1223 barcodes in the Integrated 
Scanner Programming Guide for DOS Devices
MX3 DOS and MX3-CE Mobile Device 
The MX3 DOS and MX3-CE mobile devices with the SE923 integrated scanner engine are obsolete. 
The scanner engine can be programmed using the SE923 barcodes in this guide and the Integrated 
Scanner Programming Guide for DOS Devices
.  
MX5 Pocket PC Device 
The MX5 mobile device with a Microsoft Windows Pocket PC operating system is obsolete. It is 
replaced by the MX5X CE device. An MX5 Pocket PC integrated scanner engine can be programmed 
using the appropriate SE1223 or SE2223 barcodes in this guide.
