This option decodes a code type within a specified minimum and maximum range. Valid minimum 
lengths and maximum lengths are between 0 and 80 characters. 

To set Code 128 minimum message length, first scan this barcode: 

 

Next, scan numeric barcodes that correspond to the desired minimum message value using the 
“Keypad Alphanumeric Symbols” at the end of this chapter.  

If you wish to change your message length number selection, before scanning the Save barcode, scan 
the Discard barcode on the “Keypad Alphanumeric Symbols” page. Scan the Save barcode when you 
have finished setting the correct minimum message numeric value.

“Keypad Alphanumeric Symbols” at the end of this chapter.

Code pages define the mapping of character codes to characters. If the data received does not display 
with the proper characters, it may be because the barcode being scanned was created using a code 
page that is different from the one the host program is expecting.
