The details about a software package can be examined by clicking on the + icon to the left of the 
package name.  There are three types of software packages: 

•  Auto Run 
•  Application 
•  Support 

 

Auto Run software packages contain radio, core or system software.  The software is uploaded to 
the LXE computer.  A configuration script is then executed and the LXE computer reboots.  For 
the MX2 only, enabler software is an Auto Run package. 

 

Details of this sample package are as follows: 

•  The package name is determined by the G-Number.  In this example, the package 

name, C802GD35, is derived from the G-Number used to build the package, 
C802GD35.01H. 

•  Name: A text description of the package, in this case it indicates the package 

contains a Cisco 350 radio driver. 

•  Vendor: This field is always displayed as “Unknown”. 
•  Selection Criteria: Displays the conditions, if any, preset for the package.  In this 

case, the software is designated for a Cisco 350 equipped MX1, MX2, MX3, VX1,
