Managing Remote Access Concentrators Using Annex Manager
The Options Window
This section describes the
Options
 window.
Call History Box
The
Call History
 box lets you maintain information on a specified number
of calls. Enter the maximum number of calls for which you want
information.
You can set up call history only for 5393/6300, 5399, and 8000 devices.
The range of this field is from 0 to 65535.
Taking a Modem or Channel Out of Service
You can set thresholds for taking modems and channels out of service.
Enter the number of failures after which Annex Manager takes a modem
out of service; then enter the number of failures after which Annex
Manager takes a channel out of service.
The range of these fields is from 0 to 65535.
Modules Box
The
Modules
 box lets you enable or disable any of the available software
modules. Click the
Enable
 box to enable a module; click the
Disable
 box
to disable a module.
LAT Box
You can only set the LAT key if you select a single RAC from your list.
The
LAT
box lets you set a software LAT key. The LAT key restricts access
to LAT-specific commands, functions, parameters, and the RAC LAT
protocol.
You must contact your supplier to obtain a LAT key. After you set your
key your system administrator must reboot the RAC.
