TunnelGuard logs
The TunnelGuard log file is located in the \Program
Files\Nortel\TunnelGuard\logs directory. This file contains the same alert
information as the status display, as well as some additional information.

The TunnelGuard agent logs are an optional feature with Windows Installer. By
default, logging is enabled for standard install. To view the TunnelGuard Status
log, right-click the TunnelGuard icon in the system tray and select the Status

The TunnelGuard agent pops up a dialog window whenever there is an SRS check
failure, regardless of the policy set on the SNAS for the rule. In some installation
scenarios, this feature is not desirable. When SRS check failures are logged, the
Detail switch reveals all of the information about rule contents and exactly what is
expected on the system in order to be compliant. Some VPN administrators
choose to hide some or all of this information from end users.

You can hide pop-up messages in the following ways:

Install TunnelGuard without Desktop Monitor feature. This ensures no
pop-up messages are generated on the desktop PC.
