Installing the Cards
Steps to Installing the Cards
1.
Shut down your NT server.
2.
Power off your Voice Gateway 4000 and disconnect the wires and power
cord.

Unscrew the cover screws to remove the cover from the unit.

Before installing your new cards, remove the blank plates. Refer to
for diagrams of the empty slots on each span type.
Caution:
Always shut off the power to the computer system before attempting
installation. Be careful to avoid contact between other cards in nearby slots in
the system. This may cause damage to the hardware.

Note:
Keep the cover screws in a safe place during the hardware card
installation.
