NOTE:

You can search for items even if iFINDER hasn't acquired a posi-
tion yet, or start from a position other than your own. When you do
a search, distance and bearing to the selected item will be calcu-
lated from iFINDER's current position. If iFINDER hasn't acquired
a position, it will use the last known position. If the cursor is active,
iFINDER will always begin the search at the cursor. You can look
up items by name, or search for the item nearest to you.

Find Any Item Selected by Map Cursor
With a Map Place or other map feature selected by the cursor, press

. To return to the previous page, press

NOTE:

Since the Go To command is highlighted, you can navigate to the
selected waypoint by pressing 

 while in the Waypoint Informa-

tion screen.

Find Interstate Highway Exits
1. Press

, which calls up the Find Exit Menu.

2. First, select a highway name by pressing 

, which calls up the

Find By Name menu. There are two highway search options: A. You
can spell out the highway name in the top selection box. Press 

↑ or ↓

to change the first letter, then press 

→ to move the cursor to the next

letter and repeat until the name is correct, then press 

|

Jump down to the lower selection list by pressing 

, then press 

↓ or ↑

to select a highway from the list, then press
