 Troubleshooting
The tables in this section describe some common problems you may encounter when you
use your ScanPlus (power-up, normal operation, configuration). Look for a description of
your problem in the 
symptoms
 columns and try the proposed solution given in the 
action
column.
If you can not solve the problem yourself, please contact your UBI representative.
Before you contact your UBI representative . . .
If you do not find a solution in the following Troubleshooting tables,
you can try a general reset of the ScanPlus.
1.  Make a list of your custom ScanPlus parameter settings if applicable.
2.  Switch off the electrical supply to the ScanPlus—switch off the host
system or disconnect the ScanPlus.
3.  Position the ScanPlus over the Reset Factory Defaults code (
РReset
all configuration parameters) and provide electrical power—switch
on the host system or reconnect the ScanPlus.
4. Finish the general reset procedure as described in Reset all
configuration parameters.
If you have a pushbutton model, press and hold the pushbutton when you perform step 3
and remember to activate the pushbutton after you have scanned Reset Factory Defaults.
If you still have a problem . . .
Contact your UBI representative and give full details of the problem.
Your UBI representative may ask you to provide the software / CPU
version numbers for your ScanPlus. If the ScanPlus is powered up, try
to read the Software / CPU Versions code to display this information
on your host system screen if applicable (
РSoftware / CPU version
identification).
