Third Party Application for Syslog
A third party application is required for receiving the log file information. An application
such as Kiwi Syslog Daemon is a freeware Syslog Daemon for Windows. It receives, logs,
displays and forwards Syslog messages from hosts such as Citel’s EXTender products,
routers, switches, Unix hosts and any other syslog enabled device. However, any third
party Syslog application can be used.

For the Kiwi Syslog Daemon it is a simple matter of opening the application. The log files
will be received immediately (assuming a valid Host IP address has been input). An
