If faulty management information is found when the HDD or an SD card is accessed, one of the 
following messages may appear. Be sure to follow the messages. (Repairing may take time depending 
on the error.)

2 The following message is displayed when abnormal management information is detected when the 

scenes are displayed in thumbnail. To perform the repair, select the scene with [

#] in the thumbnail 

using the cursor button, and start the playback. Please be aware that if the repair fails, scenes with 
[

#] will be deleted, and will not be able to be restored.

2 Use a sufficiently charged battery or the AC adaptor.
2 Depending on the condition of the data, it may not be possible to completely repair the data.
2 If the recovery fails, you will no longer be able to play back the scenes recorded before the power 

went off.

2 When data recorded on another device is recovered, it may not be possible to play back the data on 

this unit or the other device.

2 If recovery fails, turn the power of the unit off and on again after waiting a while. If recovery fails 

repeatedly, format an SD card or the HDD on the unit. Please be aware that if an SD card or HDD is 
formatted, then all the data recorded on the SD card or HDD will be erased. Back up important data 
on a PC, DVD disc etc.

2 If the thumbnail information is recovered, displaying the thumbnails may become slower.
