Removing Control-D characters
From PC utility files
The utility Þles on the Printer Utilities diskette for PC/DOS, all begin and
end with Control-D characters. If your computer is connected to the printer
through a parallel or serial port, you need to leave these characters in the
Þles. However, if your computer is connected to an Ethernet network such
as NetWare or TCP/IP, you should delete the Control-D characters from
each utility Þle you plan to use.
