How to Determine a Suitable Lens
In general, you will use the proportion between the distance from the projector to
the screen and the width of the projected image. This means when using a lens
size 3.4:1 the projector has to be 3.4 feet away to get a 1 foot wide projected
image.

Example:
Let us assume you would like to have a projected image of 26 feet in width and the
distance from your projector to the wall is 105 feet. Then you proceed as follows:
