LTO Tape Drives
Updates to the LTO-4 Drive Firmware
After you update your library firmware to BlueScale10.4.0 or later, confirm that your
LTO-4 drives are using the correct firmware version and update the firmware if
necessary (see Updating the Drive Firmware on page 19).

Spectra Logic recommends using firmware version 8940 or later for IBM LTO-4 tape
drives.
