Library Specifications

These specifications should be referenced to prepare for the storage, movement, 
and installation of the primary library frame.

Load per leveler foot on a fully loaded single-frame library—i.e., 24 tape drives and 
83 loaded TeraPack cases installed—is approximately 380 pounds (172 kg). This 
equals approximately 254 pounds per square inch (18 kg per square cm) on each 
foot.

If you would like to install the library on a weight-distributing plate, Spectra Logic 
recommends a steel plate with the minimum dimensions of 1/4 X 36 X 30 inches 
(0.6 X 91.4 X 76.2 cm).

Reference these specifications to prepare your data center for the size and weight of 
a Spectra T950 library cascade.
