Drive Performance
The Drive Performance Monitor allows you to monitor the performance of
your drives. This innovative feature helps you optimize drive performance
through load-balancing, tuning your SAN, and identifying performance
bottlenecks. The Drive Performance Monitoring screen provides a
graphical display of drive performance.

The Drive Performance Monitor displays the following for the selected
drive set:
Drive performance in MB/second
Data transferred in total MBs
Summary information for the displayed graphs

Use the following steps to view the performance data for the drives
installed in the library.

1. Select
General > Metrics
from the toolbar menu. The screen for the last
metric you viewed displays.
2. Select the drive performance you want to view from the available
options:
Total Library
Partition n
A specific drive
