GETTING STARTED

CHARGING THE BATTERY
After loading the battery, refer to the “Using the AC Adapter” section in this manual to connect to
the power converter.

Notes:
•  When using the Ni-MH rechargeable battery, please note that you must FULLY CHARGE
THE BATTERY. If not done so, the discharging time will be short.
•  The battery will be operated normally with normal capacity after 4~5 times of charging and
discharging. It is not a defect or abnormal battery.
•  After a period of storage, or non-usage for an extended period of time, the device will require
users to repeat the above mentioned steps to get the battery back to normal condition.
•  The battery is fully charged for approximately 3 hours after the AC adaptor is connected.

While the battery is charging the CHARGE indicator at the front will light up RED.  And when
charging is completed, the FULL indicator will light up GREEN.

Notes:
•  Disconnect the AC adapter plugs from both the player and the AC outlet, when charging is
completed or not necessary.
•  The battery recharge circuit operates on both power ON and OFF mode. Switch the unit OFF
for battery quick recharge.
•  When battery is fully charged and released from unit, the CHARGE indicator will light up RED.
It then means the charge circuit is ON.

BATTERY LOW INDICATION
When using the rechargeable battery to play and the battery is nearly exhausted, a
“STANDBY” indicator in the front of the player will begin blinking. After some time,
the power will turn OFF automatically. Refer to “Charging the Battery” to recharge
the battery.
