Operation

Power

 The scanner is powered on/off by the power switch on the right hand end.

 When powered on, the amber LED on the keypad will illuminate and after a few seconds, it turns

blue and the LCD displays various icons. (If the LED remains amber, check the paper tray is
closed correctly).

Keypad

Home.

Move left or right through the menus.

Enter the selected menu or select the current value.

Eject document if loaded. When entering numbers, it acts as a back space.

Back up 1 level in the menus. When entering numbers, it acts as Cancel.

Start scan or copy.

Cancel scan or copy.

LED

Power on.

Flashing approximately every second = scanning.
Flashing every 10 seconds = sleep mode.

Scanner paper tray open.
