This function lets you alter your subject’s facial expression to create an entirely new picture. This 
feature is applicable on the largest and/or closest face in the frame. The subject must be facing 
towards the camera.
• Select the picture with 
43, and press e.
• Select your desired effect with 
43, and press e.
• There may be cases in which the camera cannot detect a face.
Your subject’s face will be sharp and in focus, and the background will appear soft and out of focus. 
This feature is applicable on the largest and/or closest face in the frame. The subject must be 
facing towards the camera.
• Select the picture with 
43, and press e.
• There may be cases in which the camera cannot detect a face.
This function extracts 9 frames from a movie and saves them as a new picture (INDEX) 
containing thumbnails of each frame.
• Use 
43 to select a movie and press e.
• Use  the arrow pad to select the first frame and press e. 
Select the last frame in the same way and press e.
Select a part of the movie you wish to save, overwrite the original file with it, or save it as a 
new file.
• Select [NEW FILE] or [OVERWRITE] and press 
e.
• Use the arrow pad to select the first frame and press 
e. 
Select the last frame in the same way and press 
e.
This function allows you to save printing data (the number of prints and the date and time 
information) with the pictures stored on the card.
