Defining the directory search settings
When you click on the Settings button the View/Change Directory Search Settings

Once the Spooler Job Request is generated the input is tagged according to the
selected option (as either hidden or the file name is changed or the file extension
is changed). File or extension name changing is all under program control so there
is no need to specify what the new name or extension should be.

Normal job processing applies in that as soon as the engine notifies the Spooler
that the job has been processed, the input file (whether hidden or renamed) is
deleted.
