Introduction
This document describes how to configure Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) connectivity between Virtual
Interface Card (VIC) adapters installed on Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) rack servers and Cisco
Nexus 5500 (Nexus 5K) Series Switches. Two sample topologies include Cisco Fabric Extender (FEX)
devices, and one sample topology does not.
