To back up the database, follow these steps: 

1.

 

From the Register Book, select the System tab. 

 

2.

 

Select Database Backup. 

3.

 

In the Frequency parameter, choose Once or Recurring. 

Select Once when you are doing a single backup that is not going to be 
repeated. (If you select Once and press Execute, the tape backup occurs 
immediately.) Select Recurring when you want the backup to start at a 
specific time and day.

If you selected Recurring, enter the time you want to begin the backup in 
the If Recurring, hr. of Day parameter.          

You can schedule a backup during normal business hours even when the 
system is being used, but we recommend backing up your system at 
night to ensure changes made to the database during the day are included 
in the backup. 

5.

 

In the Recurring Every x Days parameter, enter the number of days 
between backups. For example, if you want to backup your system every 
other day, enter 2. 

6.

 

Select Execute.
