Introduction
This document provides a configuration example for a guest wireless LAN (WLAN) and a secure internal
WLAN that use WLAN controllers (WLCs) and lightweight access points (LAPs). In the configuration in this
document, the guest WLAN uses web authentication to authenticate users and the secure internal WLAN uses
Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) authentication.

Ensure that you meet these requirements before you attempt this configuration:
Knowledge of how to configure the WLC with basic parameters

Knowledge of how to set up a DHCP and Domain Name System (DNS) server

Cisco 2006 WLC that runs firmware release 4.0

Cisco 1000 Series LAP

Cisco 802.11a/b/g Wireless Client Adapter that runs firmware release 2.6
