Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook: Integrated Windows 
Authentication
The information in this section should be added to the “Integrated Windows Authentication” section of 
the “Configuring and Managing Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook” chapter of the 
Administration Guide for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook.
If you checked Use Integrated Windows authentication in the “Logins Tab” section on page 3-4, do 
the following:
1.
Update your registry by following these steps:
a.
On your PC start menu, click Run... 
b.
Enter regedit.
c.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Latitude\MeetingPlace 
WebPublisher\MPAgent.
d.
In the right pane, highlight and right-click RemoteUserAllowed.
e.
Set the value to 1.
f.
Click OK.
2.
Enable anonymous access by following these steps:
a.
On your PC start menu, go to Programs > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.
b.
Select Services & Applications > Internet Information Services > Web Sites > Default Web 
Site > MPWEB > Scripts
.
c.
Highlight mpoutlook.asp and right-click.
d.
In the Properties dialog box, select the File Security tab.
e.
Under Authentication and access control, click Edit.
f.
Check Enable anonymous access.
g.
Click OK.
3.
Restart the web conferencing services but following these steps:
a.
On your PC start menu, go to Programs > Administrative Tools > Services.
b.
Highlight Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing.
c.
Right-click and select Restart.
4.
In Cisco Unified MeetingPlace, go to Administration > Web Server. Enable web server 
authentication by setting Trust Web Server Authentication to Yes.
