What's Fixed?
This section provides a description of the CRs implemented in SR 4.2.1.
CR 30252 DNCS Is Not Reclaiming the qpsk_mod_id
The DNCS supports up to 255 QPSK IDs, but an issue prevented the DNCS from
reusing QPSK IDs that had been previously deleted. Therefore, the DNCS would
not allow users to add new QPSKs, even after QPSK IDs were deleted (and
presumably freed up). This issue has been corrected so that deleted IDs are now
available for reuse.
CR 59518 The emmDistributor Process Can Conflict on DB Connections During
Audit Process
In earlier releases, if the audit process query took longer than 10 minutes, the
oobBridge cache would attempt to refresh the out-of-band list. However, this refresh
could conflict with a currently running thread query, causing the emmDistributor to
fail. This issue has been corrected.
CR 60655 Support Multiple Source IP Addresses for Source Switching
Previous system releases allowed users to enter up to three source IP addresses, but
the DNCS did not send the second or third IP address to the GQAM. This limitation
prevented the GQAM source switching feature from operating as expected. The
DNCS now sends all three source IP addresses to the GQAM.
CR 60891 Solaris 10 Patches for SR 4.2.1
This CR creates new Solaris 10 Patches to upgrade the Solaris kernel and other
critical components.
CR 61706 Remove Netscape from SAI Tools
Now that the DNCS uses Firefox, Netscape has been removed from SAI Tools. When
a user tries to launch Netscape, a message will appear stating that Netscape is no
longer bundled, and Firefox will launch automatically.
CR 62742 CCardServer Cores If String Is Too Long in Display_Message in
podserverconfig
In earlier releases, a long display message string (more than 32 bytes) would cause
CCardServer to core. Message strings of up to 255 bytes are now supported.
