Downloading the Device Certificate onto the WLC
Now that the WLC device certificate is available as a .PFX file, the next step is to download the file to the controller. Cisco WLCs
accept certificates only in .PEM format. Therefore, you need to first convert the .PFX or PKCS12 format file to a PEM file using
the openSSL program.

Convert the Certificate in PFX to PEM Format Using the openSSL Program
You can copy the certificate to any PC where you have openSSL installed to convert it to PEM format. Enter these commands on
the Openssl.exe file in the bin folder of the openSSL program:
