To enable VLAN ID-based MAC authentication on a switch, use the mab request format attribute 32 vlan
access-vlan global configuration command. To return to the default setting, use the no form of this command.

This command has no arguments or keywords.

VLAN-ID based MAC authentication is disabled.

Use this feature on networks with the Microsoft IAS RADIUS server. The Cisco ACS ignores this command.
