Displays information on the current boot image in use.

Identifies the OS image, configuration file, and boot priority used during the initial start up of the system. 

Indicates the output of the command is to be piped (sent) to the command specified. A command to send 
output to must be specified.

Show the boot information in preparing for maintenance activities by verifying current boot data. The boot 
image in use may not be the same as the boot image stored on the SPC/SMC due to upgrades and pending 
reboots. 

 displays the actual boot image and configuration file loaded 

during boot. This may or may not be the highest priority image and makes this command useful when 
comparing the loaded image to the priority list. 

  This command is not supported on all platforms.
