Returns the command to its default setting of 5.

Specifies the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the client attempts to communicate with an
unresponsive DHCPv6 server.

dead_time must be an integer value from 1 through 1932100.

Default: 5

Use this command to specify the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the client attempts to communicate
with an unresponsive DHCPv6 server.

This command works in conjunction with the max-retransmissions command to set a limit to the number of
times that the system attempts to communicate with an unresponsive DHCPv6 server before it is considered
a failure.
