Release Notes for Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g Client Adapters (CB21AG and PI21AG) Install Wizard 3.6

  Troubleshooting
CSCsi60811—PMKID caching is not working with CB21AG card
With a 4400 controller, a WLAN is configured with WPA2 and with 802.1X selected as the key
management method. A client sends a PMKID in the association request, but the PMKID does not
match the controller PMKID cache.
CSCsi63193—Installation of ADU with PI21AG stalls on Acer desktop
The installation of the ADU with PI21AG stalls on the Acer 6900 Veriton desktop with Windows
XP SP2.
Resolved Caveats
The following caveats have been resolved in release 3.6:
CSCsg30531—ADU does not recognize EAP-TLS certificate
Although the client is in the Windows domain and has the correct certificate for EAP-TLS, the user
sees the following message:
No machine certificates were found on this computer. Please select a different EAP option.
CSCsg99156—PI21AG does not respond to identity requests if 802.11a is used
The wireless client might lose connectivity during roaming. When this condition occurs, the ADU
prompts for a username and password. This condition occurs only when the user connects in the
802.11a band and when the user uses the supplicant that is bundled with the ADU.
CSCsh05264—CASSU does not install if the systemdrive\temp folder is not created
The Cisco Aironet Site Survey Utility (CASSU) does not install under Program Files > Cisco
Aironet because the systemdrive\temp\ folder was not created with the initial installation from
Setup.exe. Lenovo T60 laptops with Windows XP Pro, SP2, experienced this condition. However,
Lenovo T60 with Windows 2000, SP4; Acer TM2350 with Windows XP Pro, SP2; and Lenovo R51
with Windows XP Pro, SP2, did not experience this condition.
CSCsi55815—ADU does not implement EAP-FAST inner and outer sequence correctly.
The ADU client attempts to use the same EAP ID sequence for both outside and inside EAP traffic.
This condition occurs between the ADU and the Funk/Juniper Steel Belted RADIUS server.
