Windows
pertains specifically to versions of the software that are available through the Install Wizard.

New and Changed Information
Install Wizard
An Install Wizard file is now available for the Cisco Aironet client adapters. This file (named
Windows-Client-Installation-Wizard-1.exe) is a self-extracting executable file that enables you to install
or upgrade Cisco Aironet client adapter firmware, drivers, utilities, and security modules all at once.
This file can be run on a Windows 98, 98 SE, NT, 2000, Me, or XP computer and can be used with any
of the following client adapter types:
340, 350, and 4800 series PC, LM, and PCI cards
350 series mini PCI cards
PC-Cardbus (CB20A) cards
Prior to the release of the Install Wizard file, each software component had to be installed separately.
Aironet Client Monitor (ACM)
The functionality of ACM, an optional application that is accessible from an icon in the Windows system
tray, has been expanded in the 2.0 release. ACM now provides a small subset of the features available
through ACU. Specifically, it enables you to access status information about your client adapter and
perform basic tasks. ACM has three GUI components: an icon, a tool tip window, and a pop-up menu.
