Authoring Processes
A process is basically a constructed workflow that consists of activities, invocations of child processes,
and logic components that can be included to complete the process. Cisco Process Orchestrator allows
you to automate IT processes based on your organizational requirements using a workflow format. The
Process Orchestrator also includes many pre-defined processes in its packaged automation packs.

Processes can be viewed from both the Operations and Definitions workspaces:

The Operations workspace displays scheduled and running processes. This workspace displays the
Activity Views, Process Views, and Target Views. These views display the execution progress of the
process instances.
